Salon Owner, Lead Stylist, Educator, Mentor, Yogi
Ana Paz has been in the hair industry for over 17 years. She worked her way from an assistant at 17 years old to renting stations, free-lancing, salon suite owner in West Hollywood and Huntington Beach, and now a salon owner of THE SALON by Ana Paz Hair at SOCO and The OC Mix in Costa Mesa.
Aside from working behind-the-chair she is a nationwide haircare educator and lead on-set stylist for luxury haircare lines like Alterna Haircare and T3Micro.
Ana strives to connect with each client on a deeper level. She wants to share an intentional connection with every individual who sits under her scissors, and leave them feeling better than when they came in the door.
Affable and winsome, and always smiling, Ana knows that living a balanced and healthy life is integral to achieving your goals, and that one’s hair connects directly with one’s happiness.
"Hair affects how you feel about yourself and how you present yourself, and often can be what transforms merely a good day to an unforgettably great day."
Equipped with a strong work ethic, she takes her job seriously and backs it up with a guarantee. She’s not satisfied until you are, and she wants you to look good. Always seeking to connect in meaningful ways that don’t just start and end with hair styling.
A strong reader of people, Ana understands that people rarely care how much you know until they know how much you care.
If she is not in-salon she is spending time with her husband Servando and dog, Brandon. Say hi! when they visit The Salon. Brandon loves cuddles!
Assistant, Apprentice, Music Lover, Matcha Enthusiast
Jenna Rios is working part time as Ana’s assistant at The Salon as she continues to build her career in the beauty industry. She is currently a student at Paul Mitchell The School. She not only sweeps the floors, and hands Ana foils, but she is always by Ana’s side to absorb as much information and wisdom as she can. She hopes to graduate to a junior stylist in The Salon once receiving her license.
Jenna wishes to continue gaining experience behind the chair in the years to come in her career, and also branch out into education, travel, and on-set opportunities following along Ana’s footsteps. Jenna is interested in learning about all aspects of hair specialties, and plans on becoming a color specialist. She hopes to hone in on both her color and cutting skills with Ana, and also take up men’s cutting specialty and extension certification. On top of cultivating her hands-on skills, she has also been able to gain experience with social media marketing, business theory, and retail tactics. One of the main reasons Jenna was drawn to The Salon was because of how she felt she could fit energetically with the environment. To not only be inspired by Ana’s work, but also her spirituality and love for all things crystals, plants, reiki, etc. was very important to her, and has made for an authentic relationship with The Salon’s retail and overall thematic purpose.
On her weekends off of work and school, she spends her time attending music festivals, going out with friends, going to the beach, or having a chill night in with her roommate. Jenna has grown up from a young age always wanting to be a hair stylist, and is so excited to finally be able to make that dream a reality.

Stephanie Orr is a highly experienced hair stylist with over 17 years of expertise in the hair industry. She began her career in 2005 by enrolling in Paul Mitchell School in Costa Mesa. She assisted in a salon in Santa Monica, and after mastering her craft, she built a loyal clientele. Eventually, she helped run the salon and lead the team when they opened a new location in Hollywood, where she worked and learned alongside some of the industry’s most accomplished hairstylists.
Stephanie’s experience allowed her to work on TV sets, photoshoots, and Fashion Week in New York and Los Angeles. After a whirlwind of opportunities, she realized her heart was always with her clients in the salon. For the last 9 years, she has worked at a salon suite in West Hollywood, where she has earned a reputation for providing exceptional hair services. Transforming her clients’ hair is what truly brings her joy.
When the pandemic occurred in 2020, Stephanie stepped back from being in the salon full-time. With mandated salon closures, she went from being fully booked for months to complete uncertainty. She decided to focus on a brighter future and start a family with her husband. In 2021, they welcomed a baby boy and bought a home in Signal Hill. With the relocation and a new family, she shifted her business to Orange County, where she is now taking clients at The Salon. She continues to take clients in West Hollywood part-time but plans to phase out and be available in Costa Mesa full-time. She is excited about this new era and welcoming new clients in her chair for the first time in 3 years.
Stephanie is a laid-back California girl, and her style shows it. Through collaborating with her clients, she creates looks that fit their lifestyles and personal styles. She provides her clients with a thorough consultation and a warm welcoming environment that immediately puts them at ease. Her specialty is beachy blondes, balayages, and colors that look amazing from the day you leave the salon to the day you come back for your touch-up.
